Today, i came across a shocking text, i mean it was rather random and shocking to hear from her. The ex's new chenta. Nazri: Wrong to say civil court can’t decide on issue

KUALA KANGSAR: The Islamic Development Department is wrong to say there cannot be two sets of laws and rules to deal with the “Allah” controversy.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Aziz said Malaysia had both Syariah and civil court.
“If that’s the case, we might as well close down the Syariah (courts) and use civil (courts) only,” he said yesterday after attending a Ponggal festival.
Nazri argued that if Jakim director-general Datuk Wan Mohamad Sheikh Abdul Aziz wanted Christians from east Malaysia to respect the culture and norms of Muslims in the peninsula, which had enactments barring non-Muslims from using the word “Allah”, he should respect east Malaysians who use the word “Allah” in their church.
He was responding to Wan Mohamed’s statement in a report in an online news portal yesterday.
Nazri, who is also the de-facto Law Minister, said he was merely saying what has been the norm for years.
Asked whether the Government was worried about repercussions from Sabahans and Sarawakians, Nazri said there was no law in the two states which barred the use of the word “Allah” by non-Muslims.”
“In the peninsula, however, where the Sultans are the head of religion in their state, there are such enactments.”
In George Town, DAP chairman Karpal Singh described as “illogical” Nazri’s view that only Christians in Sabah and Sarawak be allowed to use the word “Allah”.
“The use of the word should be allowed throughout Malaysia. Until the High Court decision is set aside, this is the law,” he said at a press conference. He said it was unconstitutional for any state enactment to specify that the word “Allah” could not be used by non-Muslims.
